Muttiah Muralitharan has today created a Mount Everest of test wickets by claiming 800 test wickets in the first test of Sri Lanka vs India.

He is also the only bowler in International cricket who can boast about taking 100 test wickets against India. His feat came at an opportune moment as it helped his team Sri Lanka to claim a massive 10 wicket victory over a loss for words India.

All Mahendra Singh Dhoni could talk about at the post match conference was how outstanding a cricketer Murali is.

Murali meanwhile was his witty humble self and even went as far to say that he felt Harbhajan Singh from India had the capability in him to break or equal his record.

Bhajji we hope is listening and for once would pay more attention to his sluggish form than to the clothes he wears at the parties.

The match had some dramatic moments as it seemed that Lasith Malinga would not let Murali reach 800 at all.

Also the Indian tail showed some bite and the clouds overhead seemed threatning. But Murali did get what he deserved in the end.
