Once again in all important India v Sri Lanka encounter men in blue has have brazenly displayed their lame tale. After receiving humiliating defeat against minnows Zimbabwe in the very first clash of the tri-nation series somehow team India pulled off a great win over the islanders in the next match. But once again spirited Zimbabwe peeped into the wholes of down in the dumps Indian team and registered another thumping but shocking win.  This turned out to be fatal enough for taking the men in blue to the brink of getting out of the tournament. Now men in blue needed some shoulder to console them so that they can bounce back in the tournament with a massive victory once gain over the Sri Lankan team. This shoulder came from Sahara Company that got their contract renewed. But even the Sahara of Sahara could not do any wonder for the team in the do or die clash of two Asians giants.

Today before the match Sri Lankan Skipper DIlshan TIlakratne Won the toss and invited the men in blue to display their batting skills first in front of the Zimbabwe cricket fans sitting in the stadium. But Indian openers could not make Sri Lankan Team and fans sitting in the stadium dance to their tunes. Both the openers fell quickly and that too within 10 overs when score was merely 41 on the board.

In the India V Sri Lanka cut throat competition here mercurial Yousuf Pathan and emerging wall of India virat kohli did the rescue job and placed the team in glorious position. By the time dasher Yousuf Pathan was batting on the crease Indian team was comfortably marching towards 300 run mark.  He was dictating the terms in his style and making the Sri Lankans bowl as per his aspiration. But soon he fell after making dazzling 44 runs Nin just 41 balls. This turned out to be the way out for Sri Lanka.  The moment they got rid of overbearing Yousuf Pathan they pounced at the Indian team like some hungry tiger hunting for some victim. After his fall of wicket all the bowlers got on the nerves of Indian batsmen and never allowed them to capitalize on the platform provided by Yousuf Pathan.

Son after the fall of Yousuf Pathan Emerging Mr. consistent Virat Kohli also lost his concentration and lost his wicket.  After that In Form Rohit Sharma and Makeshift Skipper Suresh Riana got together and tried to do some renovation. But both of them got decent starts but none of them could make the most of their starts as both fell cheaply.

By now Indian team was looking down in dumps. Sir Lankan Bowlers added more insult to the injuries of Indian team by claiming couple of more wickets in jiffy until snail Ravinder Jadeja and entirely new comer in the international cricket circuit R. Ashwin got together and hit some lusty blows one after another to take the team to so called respectable total of 269 for the loss of nine wickets.

In reply to the respectable but nothing total of 269 on a batting heaven Sri Lankan Team was looking in a great hurry as they got swift commencement from the blades of their skipper Tilakratne Dilshan and Southpaw Uppul Tharanga. But after giving a rocking start to their team both fell quickly. This was the chance for India to make something happen in the match and come back by pushing the islanders on back foot.

But lumpish ground fielding display did not help the team India. But they have no one to blame for all this except themselves. Sri Lankan batsmen Dinesh Chandimal drank the situation to the fullest and made the most of it. He did not only take benefit of childish fielding of the Indian fielders in the outfield rather he also mercilessly clobbered Indian pacers and spinners whenever he yearned to do so.

Today Dinesh Chandimal scored a brilliant ton against Indian team and placed Sri Lanka into the grand finale of the tri-nation tournament going on here.  Now their only left clash with the hosts Zimbabwe is nothing more than some formality to be completed. Both the teams will once again lock their horns with each other in order to win the beautiful trophy on the stake at the same venue in the final of the tournament.

After the match makeshift captain of Indian Cavalcade Suresh Raina said that we got on the board what we wanted but yet we truly failed to defend it successfully. Today we were on the way to hunt Sri Lanka in order to make a way for ourselves for playing final. But it has not happened today.

Raina needs to one thing that if hunter is for can hunt so sometimes hunter can be hunted due to his sloppy work in the field.  This is exactly what has happened to day to the men in blue in the match India V Sri Lanka when being a hunter they came in the battle ground to hunt Sri Lanka.
