Ind vs NZ: Both The Teams Are All Set For Do Or Die Encounter Dambulla:: Batting Adds To The Woes of Both The Teams

These days Sri Lanka is hosting a triangular series in which India Vs New Zealand are the other two participants. India and Sri Lanka have always been recognized for their batting powers whereas New Zealand is the only one team in this tournament which is known for their equal efficiency in all the departments of the game.

If we talk about teams here so India vs Sri Lanka so both the teams have great batting line up and bowling is also fine but when it comes to fielding so both these teams lack efficiency in this department. But the third participant of the tournament New Zealand has an edge over both these teams when it comes to compare all the departments of the game. Although New Zealand batting line up is completely inexperienced save players like newly appointed skipper Ross Taylor. But in this tournament all the teams have struggled in terms of batting display in Dambulla.

On Wednesday this triangular tournament’s end will come closer as India and New Zealand are taking each other on in a decisive encounter. This is the last league match of this tournament. But this does not mean that it does not have any importance owing to being a last match of this tournament.

First of all they got bundled out on 89 runs while chasing the target of 290 runs against New Zealand on the same pitch then in the last game against Sri Lanka men in blue faced another humiliation of being packed at 103 runs.

Dispute all this Kiwi team can not afford to take Indian team lightly. The major reason is that all the big guns are short of just one big innings. Kiwi team is making special plans for tomorrow’s game against India at Dambulla’s Rangiri International Stadium. Kiwi team is doing all this because are very well know it that this required big innings can come any time. Once they get it at the top especially from the blade of Nazafgarh Nawaab Virender Sehwag so he will not take too long in pummeling New Zeeland single handedly. Moreover, his innings can work like tonic for all other batsmen of the Indian team.

But the matter of relaxation for the kiwi team is that Sehwag and rest of the Indian team’s batting line up has been off-colored in this entire tournament so far. But this does not remove the worries that black caps are facing here in Sri Lanka. If we talk about the batting line up of New Zealand so it has also been a chip of the same block in this tournament, There is not doubt about the talent in the batting line up of New Zealand. Undoubtedly New Zealand has one of the best batting calibers in their batting line up that can turn the match in their favor any time at will. Talking about bowling department so likes of Daryl Tuffey, 10 Kyle Mills are already present in the squad for strengthening it.

But as I have already mentioned earlier that batting of both the teams has badly failed in this tournament so both India Vs New Zealand need to pay heed towards this. As it is a do or die game for both the teams because looser will have to pack bag and baggage for home and winner will meet host Sri Lanka in the final of the tournament. So here the kind of flaws that these two teams have committed in their matches will not do at all.

Moreover, there are some stats also that are on the stake through this match. Sri Lanka has always been a lucky venue ever since Dhoni has become Indian skipper. In Sri lanka Mahender Singh Dhoni played 6 tournaments as a captain and he has won all the 6 tournaments in Sri Lanka. So if India wins this match tomorrow so this streak may increase further otherwise it can come to end also.

Whereas Indian team has been facing the dilemma of inconsistent and cheesy batting performance so on the other hand New Zealand is also facing the problem of not having any batting practice for more then dozen days. So due to this Kiwi skipper Ross Taylor is slightly worried about batting performance of the team in tomorrows match.

Although both the teams have their woes in terms of their batting department yet there are some key players in both the teams. So both the teams need to watch out for them as they can turn the tale on the opposition any time under any kind of circumstances. So both India Vs  New Zealand had better prepare some special plans in order to get rid of them as early as possible otherwise they can change the result of the match anytime at will.

So far as Indian team is concerned so they need to prepare special strategy in order to get rid of Opener Martin Guptill, Scott Styris, Grant Elliot and Ross Taylor in the batting department. India team had better get rid of these detrimental players as early as possible. So far as Kiwi bowling attack is concerned so if Indian team can see off Daryl Tuffey and Kyle Mills early on so it will be cinch for them.

Now come to Indian team so our team is also not second to the New Zealand in all the departments because there are heavy weight big cannons like of Nazagarh Nawaab Virender Sehwag and that too right on the front as an opener and down the order there are some more big heavy weight guns like Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, DInesh Karthick, Ravinder Jadeja, Praveen Kumar, Captain Dhoni and at last who can forget the fireball Yuvraj Singh down the order. So on the front if Canon of Indian team Virender Sehwag gets going once so his canon balls of sixes and boundaries will make Rangiri International Stadium the burial ground of Kiwi Bowling attack single handedly.

As a Reminder who can forget his furious innings of 100 runs when came to represent India at the global level first time in Sri Lanka way back against the very same opposition. This was the through which he openly announced his arrival in the international arena of cricket. Moreover, this is not enough as down the order there are many big guns that can add to the woes of kiwi team but despite this it will be big foolhardy if the name of Yuvraj Singh is not mentioned here. Yuvraj Singh is the only one man the world who is equal to Virender Sehwag in all the departments of the game. The only difference between these two is that Virender Sehwag bats up the order and Yuvraj Singh Bats down the order. Virender Sehwag starts the series of woes for the oppositions and Yuvraj Singh takes it to the end.

In terms of Bowling Kiwi team need to come out with special plan against Praveen Kumar, Pragyan Ojha, Ishant Sharma and Ashish Nehra.

Pitch and conditions:

There is a new pitch that is going to be used here for the match of India vs New Zealand tomorrow but after the inspection of the pitch during the net session of the team Indian skipper Mahender Singh Dhoni told the reporters the pitch is just like the other pitches that have been used so far. It will always assist the bowlers and help them get some bounce and swing.

So it will swing significantly during the day time. In order to make the most of this pitch and win the match toss will play crucial role because chasing on this pitch in the evening will be a hard nut to crack as it always swings too much in the evening. So according to me whichever captain wins the toss tomorrow he would to bat first on this pitch.

The reason of it is that although there is some assistance for the bowlers in the pitch but if the openers can see of the initial attack with new ball so it will be little easy to bat and post a competitive total on this pitch. Moreover, chasers will always be in the problem as the ball keeps on swinging through out the innings in the evening. So it is never easy to bat here in the evening and chase even a moderate total like 210-230 runs for victory.
