India is showing signs of being the numero uno test team in international cricket. After failing to curb the lanka run leak and letting them cruise to 642 it seems the urgency kicked in and now India have reached 477 for the loss of only 4 wickets.
India trail by 165 runs but they have avoided the follow on. After the good showing by Sehwag on Day 3it was upto Tendulkar and Raina to salvage the Indian innings from a top order slump.
sachin showed his class once again as he scored 152 and hit 20 boundaries, whereas the IPL star Raina too showed maturity by supporting Tendulkar with a 112 with 11 boundaries.
Mendis and Randiv who were difficult to handle last day were looking playable on day 4. Now what is to be seen is that what will be India’s strategy post the Lunch. If they have to win this match then they would be looking to score much faster than what they have been scoring now.
