India vs Sri Lanka Live Score: India Lose Another Wicket; 200 Runs Needed To Avoid Follow On
By Varun Modi - Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 | 1,763 views |
After the flurry of wickets that fell just before lunch, it was up to Laxman and Tendulkar to save India from going under. Though they succeed to keep the lankan bowlers at bay for some time, Laxman fell to an lbw decision after the duo had put up a 68 runs partnership.
India have now made 243/4 till tea, though India did survive a scare as a huge lbw appeal against Suresh Raina was turned down by the umpire.
It is interesting to note that both Laxman and Tendulkar were dropped early on in their innings but Laxman unfortunately could not make most use of the chance given to him. India still need 200 more runs to avoid follow on.
But for India to be able to do that it is critical that Tendulkar and Suresh stay at the crease for the whole day today and see of the early overs tomorrow.
