Veena Malik the Pakistani actress involved in match-fixing deals for 7 cricketers

A prominent name coming up in the match-fixing scandal that shamed Pakistani cricketers after the London fiasco is that of Veena Malik, the dubious Pakistani actress who reportedly made deals for 7 players claimed Indian shutterbug Dheeraj Dixit.

Actress Veena is said to be Md Asif’s ex-girlfriend and Dixit said he never met her in person but was called and told to negotiate for match-fixing deals by her. She boasted of managing big deals with 7 pak cricketers under her belt while Australia was playing Pak with more matches coming up and thus giving them enough room for a good amount of fraud and fixing to earn big bucks. “During that time, she told me if I had any big businessman from India who wanted to earn a lot of money in a night, then I can introduce him to her”, Dixit informed Indian TV channels.

However Veena Malik counterattacked the photographer saying he was himself a bookie who dealt with on the spot fixing of matches and was paid by Asif. But Dixit had an answer to that too. He declared he was in Dhaka the time she called and informed all the matches were fixed and “pre-decided” according to the bookies and cricketers involved who got money to execute their nefarious plans.

The gamesmanship is going into the dungeons and the spirit these sports should inculcate are at an all time low with people like dubious Pakistani actress Veena Malik and other perpetrators of such deals boasting of good connections and big bucks.
