Once again entire Pakistan team is in highlights owing to serious charges of match fixing. It is to be noticed here that entire Pakistan cricket team has always been in involved in match fixing scandals. Many a times Pakistani have received serious punishments like heavy fine and life ban also. But all this seems to be good for nothing. Team Pakistan has always maligned the sport and sportsman’s spirit by fixing matches. Pakistani players have always fixed matches for earning some extra bucks.
This is not the first time when Pakistan cricket team has been found guilty of match fixing in any corner of the world. Pakistan team is always known for foxing matches for the sake of money. It seems as if Pakistan team wants only money. It does not matter how this money comes. Moreover, this latest scandal of match fixing has proved it that Pakistan is always ready to malign the image of gentlemen’s game for earning some extra bucks.
There are plenty of proofs of it which are sufficient for proving Pakistan cricket team a team of fixers. The recent most proof is the Australia tour o Pakistan cricket team just before the tour of England. On this tour all the One Day international matches including all the Test Matches and T20 matches were fixed. Here one more thing is to be noticed that Pakistani cricket team always put Australia on the back foot in all the matches but yet lost with significant margin.
After the end of Australian tour several players received severe punishments for being involved in match fixing. All the punished players were seniors of the team.
After the dismal tour of Australia that was fixed Pakistan cricket team came to England for a tour. According to the news from Scotland yards Police England tour of Pakistan was also fixed in terms of the results. Moreover, the last Npower Test is not the only one match that was fixed on this England tour of Pakistan. Scotland police also claims that the firs Npower Test which Pakistan team lost by 354 runs against England was also. Fixed.
Now owing to be involved in the latest match fixing scandal several senior players of the Pakistan cricket team have been grilled by the Scotland yards. Scotland yards have also made it clear that if needed then passports of the entire Pakistan cricket team will also be seized in order to reach the main culprit. So far at least 7 Pakistani cricket players have questioned in this regard.
Moreover, Pakistan team is not only the one culprit involved in this heinous match fixing scandal. There is someone else also who has hand gloved in this scandal. He is a millionaire of London and his name is Mazhar Majeed who has been arrested by the British police on the charges of match fixing. British police has claimed that he runs a match fixing racket also. Mazhar Majeed is mainly a property developer and a sports agent also. He has been given a bail now. But he will have to reaper on later date for enquiry in this regard.
A British news paper also claims that Scotland yards have been given a tip regarding fixing in the first test match. This is nothing because British news paper also claims that four Pakistani players had been ordered by Mazhar Majeed for not playing the first test match with honest and true spirit.
At being asked about the consequences British police made it clear that if anyone is found guilty in this matter so he will be put behind the bas at least for 10 years.
This match fixing scandal has also put a stigma on the glorious series victory registered against Pakistan.
This is just nothing to shock the cricket community because there is plenty more to shock the entire cricket community. Earlier a British news paper conducted a sting operation in which the Mazhar Majeed got trapped and claimed that he had been running a match fixing scandal for nearly two and half year. Moreover, there are at least 7 players involved in this match fixing racket. He also admitted that all of us involved in this racket have made chunk of money in this way.
According tot Mr. Majeed who is the main culprit of this match fixing scandal he ordered two Pakistani bowlers to deliver deliberate no-balls by overstepping the crease. That is exactly what they did because all of them had been told that in this all of us will be able to mint money heavily.
A British news paper The Daily Telegraph also claims that Mr. Majid who represents himself as a property tycoon and football club owner has many unpaid bills of thousands of pounds which are unpaid so far. Moreover, there are many companies of him which have closed on his wake,.
Now Mr. Majeed and entire Pakistan Cricket is in all sorts of trouble. But mainly two fast bowlers Mohammed Amir and Mohammed Asif who bowled d deliberate no-balls in the lords test are also in hot water.
This is just a trailer of this match fixing scandal so far that we have presented you. There is one more shocking report in this regard. According to this report of the British News Paper The Daily Telegraph this scandal has connection with India also. There is one Indian named Mr Dheeraj who is involved in this scandal.
Mr.Dheeraj is also being grilled in this regard and he climes that he talked to Veena Malik over the phone who claimed herself the wife of Mohammed Asif. He talked to Mohammed Asif also who told him about the Australian tour that was fixed entirely. Moreover, Veena Malik also admitted that Mohammed Aisf is a serial fixer.
Now this match fixing scandal has not only marred the party of English players who have won the series in a grand style against Pakistan rather it has marred the image of gentlemen’s game also. In this regard DLN sources went to IIC Chief Mr. Sharad Pawar and Former ICC Chief Malcolm Speed also. At being asked about this scandal Mr. Sharad Pawar said that he will talk to the Pakistan Cricket Board in this regard. Moreover, he also said that he will demand the punishment of Ban for Pakistan cricket also.
Now whatever happens does not matter because so far in this way Pakistan cricket team has managed to spoil the image of gentlemen’s game and its spirit to. So according to me Pakistan Cricket deserves a nemesis for this heinous crime of spoiling the image of cricket time and again. According to me it will be highly disturbing and heart-breaking for Pakistan cricket fans but this will also be a strong message to all the players and fixers that cricket community will not tolerate this kind of dishonesty with the game at any cost. Moreover, u twill be a perfect way for crushing the devil of match fixing.
