Pak vs Aus 2nd test

Headingley: While the memories of the Sydney test in the ongoing Pa vs. Aussie series still fresh in their minds, the Pakistan team has decided to pull up their socks & break the 13yr jinx of defeat at the hands of Australia. Despite having a 1-0 lead Australia seems to have no luck in this match at least.

The 3rd day had seen some awesome cricket from both the sides with Imran Farhat & Azhar Ali going for a 110-run stand. But it was broken by Bollinger who claimed 2 wickets in 2 overs. That left Ali & Umar Akmal on the pitch. In bowling as well remarkable discipline & skill was seen in Mohammed Aamer who managed to bag 3 wickets in the 1st hour itself. Ponting was also a victim of his strong pace & left the pitch after a pretty good score of 66.

In the Australian squad Smith the new 21yr old all-rounder amazed everyone with a 77 off 100 balls score which he accomplished with a god on. of 4s & 6s. A good overnight run-stand of 34 runs by Ponting & Clarke was however broken by Aamer. Clarke however carried on with a half-century off 99 balls only to be taken by Asif at 74.

But Pakistan has finally beat Australia by 3 wickets thus drawing the series 1-1. The Pak vs. Aus match ended with the Aussies being bowled out for 349 in their 2nd innings.
