India beat Australian’s record of playing maximum ODIs, Know other records

India yesterday played their 742nd  live cricket ODI match against Sri Lanka in which Indians defeated Lankan team by 7 wickets. India beat Australia’s total of 741 ODIs & yet have the exceptional mark of playing the most nos. of ODIs.

  • Angelo Matthews who scored 75 runs has made a record of a career-best innings – his 4th innings of 50’s.
  • Matthews has scored single 50 runs inning against Kiwis, England, India & Zimbabwe.
  • Tillakaratne Dilshan scored eighth 50 against Indians which is his 17th in One-Day International match.
  • The win by 7 wickets is Indians 65th triumph in 122 cricket-matches in opposition of Lankan team with winning 58.55%.
  • Ravindra Jadeja (2/49) has made record over his top bowling presentation far away from India.
  • Rohit Sharma & Virat Kohli have scored 154 runs for the 3rd wicket partnership – India’s excellent performance in Zimbabwe.
