MELBOURNE (DLN): Kamran Akmal, who is under investigation for charges of match-fixing, has got the favor of Waqar Younis (Coach) who alleged he would have no difficulty in choosing the wicket-keeper in the Pakistan team.

In a revealed video of the investigation team during Pakistan’s terrible trip to Australia, the coach Intikhab Alam & manager Aaquib Javed told they considered book-composers might have been included the incidents, and queried Kamran’s comment.

The Test match at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) witnessed Ricky Ponting’s side pull off an extraordinary come-from-behind win. Kamran dropped 4 catches in the 3rd innings and lost a run-out opportunity of Shane Watson when the opening batsman was on 49 runs. Watson scored 97. He dropped Michael Hussey 3 times as the mid-order batsman scored 134 runs.

As per Waqar commitment “If you don’t have any proof, you should just keep quiet. I won’t have a problem selecting Kamran, I think he was one of our better performers in the World Twenty20. There are some very ugly agendas and people trying to benefit here.” Waqar, who has since exchanged Intikhab Alam as lead coach, revealed The Age he did not share Intikhab’s doubts.

After a single day, video tape of a PCB meeting was leaked to the media and it showed players & former officials raising disbeliefs about match-fixing during the Australia trip. The video of their confirmation was leaked to Pakistan TV on Wednesday. Aaqib too had disbeliefs about the presentation of fast bowler Rana Naved-ul-Hasan in a T20 match in Australia.
