A New Variety of Mango Named After Iconic Tendulkar

To pay tribute to Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in the special way, mango’s new variety has been named after Maestro Sachin.

Kalimullah Khan, who is an aged farmer of Lucknow’s Malihabad, has found this decent way to salute the idol batsman. He is the highest run saver in both forms of the international cricket Test and ODI.

“There is no player like our Sachin Tendulkar in the whole world and that’s why I have named this variety of mango after Sachin,” he told NDTV.

However, he said that the new variety will not go on sale as Sachin is priceless.

“Our Sachin is a world hero and he is priceless and not a saleable commodity” he said.
