Australia’s campaign at the T-20 World Cup suffered a jerk as Brett Lee was today ruled out of T-20 event after getting injury in his bowling arm.

Brett Lee injured during yesterday’s lost warm up game against minnows Zimbabwe.

Before some weeks, Brett Lee’s IPL stint was also hit by a crack in his right hand’s thumb.

The team spokesman told, Brett Lee strained a muscle in his right elbow.

“It’s a muscle strain. We have gone to the ICC Technical Committee to ask for a replacement player,” the spokesman was quoted.

It is most likely that either Doug Bollinger or Ryan Harris will be replaced with him.

Both players had put up a good show at IPL-III with Chennai Super Kings. Australia will play their opening game against defending champs Pakistan on Sunday in St Lucia.
