Kumble’s Royal Challengers Bangalore and Shane Warne’s Rajasthan Royals are playing with full consciousness as a loss will make them out of contention for a semifinal this season.

Both IPL teams have 12 points from all matches but Rajasthan Royals has better net run-rate in compare to Royal Challengers, who lost to Mumbai Indians by 37 runs on Sunday.

Inspite of that defeat, Royals will seek ease from the verity that they are playing at home and against a side that has not fared well away, lost 4 out of their last 6 matches – its recent loss to Deccan Chargers in Nagpur on Monday

Meanwhile, Shane Warne would be hoping for a better performance on the field after their poor performance against Mumbai, where they dropped Tendulkar, who was stated Man of the Match for his victorious score of 89.

Batsmen were also found to want with their calling between the wickets, which resulted in as many as three run outs. On the other hand, Anil Kumble’s team would perform well to show some urgency in their batting, especially in the opening six overs, to alleviate the pressure on the middle-order, which has often been left with too much to do.

Opener of RCB Manish Pandey should come as good after a series of poor scores while RCB’s Jacques Kallis must get a healthy run-rate. Their middle-order seems difficult with Dravid, Uthappa, Kohli and Taylor all in well-brought-up nick.

Last time these two sides met, Kumble’s team recorded one of their biggest triumphs, got victory by ten wickets with more than 9 overs to unused after dismissing Rajasthan for just 92 runs.

Now, it’s time for Shane Warne & team to pay back in the same coin.
